Swedish epic directed by Peter Flinth based on Jan Guillou's trilogy about the fictional Swedish Knight Templar Arn (Arn - Tempelriddaren) starring Joakim Naetterqvist, Sofia Helin and Stellan Skarsgard.

Arn, the son of a high-ranking Swedish nobleman is educated in a monastery and sent to the Holy Land as a knight templar to do penance for a forbidden love.

Filmed on location at Hopetoun House, Craigmillar Castle and Seton Collegiate in East Lothian.
