FO:UK

Film Edinburgh is proud to be part of the FO:UK network.

Film Offices: UK (FO:UK) is formed of Film Offices across the UK and provides a forum which allows the group to share best practice and knowledge as well as discuss industry trends.

Established in August 2013, members of FO:UK regularly meet to share information and ideas which ensures the best possible service is given to the Film and TV industry in the areas committed to providing dedicated support.

Membership is informal and open to not-for-profit local authority services in a regional or city area of the UK (outside London), with a dedicated member of staff resourced to support film and TV production of all types proactively and reactively without prejudice. They provide a single point of contact with industry knowledge, building a network within the county wide authority and any subsidiary authorities and the local area, troubleshooting where necessary.

Each year a Lead Office is nominated to manage all central administration, communication and financial tasks for the FO:UK forum. The lead office is currently Buckinghamshire Film Office.
