Stonemouth

This two-part mystery drama from the BBC is based on the bestselling and penultimate novel from Scottish writer, Iain Banks.

Christian Cooke stars as Stewart Gilmour, a young man returning home to the fictional seaside town of Stonemouth for the funeral of an old friend.

Two years earlier Stewart was driven out of the town by crime boss Don Murston for having a relationship with his daughter. As Stewart begins to question the circumstances surrounding the death he once again incurs the wrath of the Murston crime family.

Stonemouth also stars Peter Mullan as crime boss Don Murston, Charlotte Spencer and Gary Lewis.
