The Escape Artist

A three part BBC legal thriller starring David Tennant and Toby Kebbell.

Tennant plays Will Burton, a highly talented barrister nicknamed 'The Escape Artist' due to his ability to get defendants out of tight legal situations. However when his skills acquit the prime suspect in a vicious murder case, his talents come back to haunt him with chilling consequences.

Episode 3 brings Will back to home to Scotland, where locations include an East Lothian beach and railway station, Carter Bar, as well as scenes in Edinburgh city centre (Royal Mile, Victoria Terrace, North Bridge).
