Gordon Napier

BAFTA & BIFA nominated director Gordon Napier has a Master of Fine Art in Film Directing from The University of Edinburgh, his work there earned him the highly coveted UK Prince William BAFTA & Warner Bros. Film Scholarship.

Gordon’s recent film 1745 screened in competition at the (LSFF) London Short Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, received the 'Jury Special Mention' at the (EIFF) Edinburgh International Film Festival 2017, was nominated for a BAFTA & the (BIFA) British Independent Film Award for 'Best Short Film', was a finalist at the (BIFF) Black International Film Festival in the UK and won 'Best Short Film' at the prestigious Africa International Film Festival.

It was also officially selected by the (IFFR) International Film Festival Rotterdam and the (GSFF) Glasgow Short Film Festival and Oscar qualifying (CIFF) Cleveland International Film Festival.
