We've Updated Our Privacy Policy

Data Protection laws are changing. To respond to this we have updated our privacy policy.

Film Edinburgh is getting in touch with people who have a listing with us on our Production Guide (including facilities, production companies and locations), those who are our primary contact for locations and council officers and elected members who we work with to make them aware of this.

We take data privacy responsibilities very seriously and we want you to understand and feel confident about how we collect, store and handle your personal data. Our updated privacy policy explains this and sets out the rights you have in relation to your personal data.

You do not need to take any action. However, please contact us at info@filmedinburgh.org if you would like us to delete your contact details from our system.

If you want to find out more our new privacy notice takes you through the detail of why we hold your data, the legal basis for us doing so, where it will be publicly available, when we’ll delete it and how we’ll keep it up to date.
