The Scottish home of world famous independent arts charity BAFTA. We support careers, champion creativity, and celebrate the exceptional storytelling emerging from the country’s thriving film, games and TV industry.
Bectu is the union for creative ambition. We represent nearly 40,000 staff, contract and freelance workers in the media and entertainment industries.
Our programme of events and training is driven by ongoing direct consultation with the industry and is supported by our team’s first-hand experience working in the Film and TV industry.
We are a cultural charity, a National Lottery distributor, and the UK‘s lead organisation for film and the moving image.
