Metro 13 Music

Metro 13 Music is a music recording and production facility owned and operated by composer/ producer Marty Hailey. Metro 13 Music is a bespoke music and production house composing and producing music for film, tv, radio, advertising, online and stage. We make content for sync and production music houses in the U.K and Australia. We also produce, record and mix albums.

Featuring a Neve console, high end outboard gear and microphones, a Pro Tools HDX system and a large collection of instruments (including grand piano, drum kit, vintage synthesisers, double bass, guitars and amplifiers) the wood panelled studio has three isolation rooms.

The complex in Granton also boasts two other small studios. Until 2023 Metro 13 was the home of Chamber Studio which has recorded artists such as Robert Smith, Snow Patrol, Mogwai, Biffy Clyro, Hamish Stuart, Amy Macdonald and Karine Polwart to name but a few.
