Tom Ruddock’s journey as a Writer/Director began at an early age, where he was captivated by his Grandads stories of growing up in 1930’s London during World War Two. This lead him to start making films at fifteen - when he started ‘borrowing’ his Dad’s video camera.

Tom’s work as a filmmaker is always characterised as having an empathetic approach. Whether a Narrative Film, Commercial or Music Videos, Tom always endeavours to make content that will make you feel. In his writing, Tom looks to explore the deep questions & challenges in life but always through the lense of hope and how we can move forward.

He has won multiple awards and multiple Vimeo Staff Picks for his films as well as having numerous Oscar Qualifying Film Festival selections on top of having selected work sold and distributed internationally through SVOD Platforms.
