The Edinburgh Science Festival began 35 years ago as the world’s first public celebration of science and technology as a Festival, and continues to take places annually over the Easter holidays.
The Edinburgh TV Festival is the home of independent debate in TV, running concurrently with the Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, and similar events in the city.
The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival takes place every July, with 110 concerts taking place in theatres, parks and clubs in the city centre as well as in every ward in the city.
The ESFF runs for around 9-10 screening nights every October/November at venues across Edinburgh, with networking events, Q and As, workshops and masterclasses.
The Edinburgh tramlines run 18.5km (11.5m) line from Edinburgh Airport and Newhaven, with 23 stops.
