Sarah Lauder Production

I’m Sarah Lauder, a freelance Producer based in Scotland, with 20 + years’ experience in the industry.

I started my career working at BBH in London and along the way I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing talent based up and down the UK.

I have lived and worked in California and Sydney and since moving back to Edinburgh have worked in some of Scotland’s best advertising agencies, including The Leith Agency and Story UK.

From my time working in agencies I’ve really come to understand the need to work with the creative department in order to deliver exactly what their vision is, whilst keeping a tight rein on budgets and deadlines, and decided in 2014 to become a freelance Producer.

Experience has taught me that each job needs a different skill-set, so I’ve focused on working with an incredible cross section of gifted freelance Directors, Photographers and Crew who are most suited to the job. My role is to co-ordinate everything required for a successful shoot, ranging from the first briefing and pre-production meeting, to being on set during lengthy photo shoots, all whilst ensuring that the entire crew and client team are happy.

I am reliable, flexible, organised, and have a genuine interest and understanding of the creative process. I’m able to confidently ensure that all the production elements I work on are of the highest standard, no matter how big or small the requirements.
