Department Q is a Netflix crime thriller series, produced by Left Bank Pictures, based on the books by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen of the same name. Directed by Scott Frank (The Queen's Gambit) and written by Stephen Greenhorn, Colette Kane and Chandni Lakhani, the story is set in Edinburgh and revolves around Carl Morck, former top-rated guilt-ridden detective in assigned to a new cold case.
The cast is lead by Matthew Goode, Chloe Pirrie, Alexej Manvelov, Kelly Macdonald and Leah Byrne, and includes Mark Bonnar, Shirley Henderson, Jamie Sives and Kate Dickie.
Department Q based itself at FirstStage Studios in Leith and filmed in Edinburgh over six months, making use of many, varied and new-to-screen locations across 12 wards across the city as well as in East Lothian. See if you can spot the following locations:

The series will be released on Netflix in the UK on May 29th.
